Milton Keynes College to host Murray Chapman & MND fundraiser

Milton Keynes College has joined forces with the Craft Guild of Chefs and Hospitality Action to host a fundraiser for Murray Chapman, founder of A Passion to Inspire, following his MND diagnosis.

The fundraiser will take place on Tuesday 30th July at 6pm where cocktails and canapes will be served. The event is taking place at The Brasserie of Milton Keynes College. Tickets cost £50 per person.

A GoFundMe campaign has been set up for Murray Chapman, a chef, trainer, mentor and unfailing champion of student chefs, after his recent diagnosis of frontal lobe dementia and Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

He commented: “A wonderful evening ahead with culinary legends such as Steve Munkley, Claire Clarke and Alan Paton. Inspiring students and great lecturers are all involved and creating such lovely food. Treat yourselves to a lovely evening.”

The menu includes:

  • Bread & butter by Geroge Spires
  • Scallop kedgeree by Alan Paton with Ben Skinner
  • Murray’s feathered feast by Tony Oxley with Brandon White
  • Roasted rump of Welsh lamb by Steve Munkley with Joe Finnis
  • Pre-dessert by Laura Fedoriw
  • Chocolate & cherry by Claire Clarke & Chloe Hammond
