The Craft Guild of Chefs, in partnership with the Savoy Educational Trust, has announced they will host an Education and Training Summit which is taking place on 8-9th January 2026 at Loughborough College.

This event will aim to bring together leading educators, industry professionals and training providers to share best practices, explore new approaches in culinary arts education and support the development of the hospitality industry.

The summit will include keynote speakers, panel discussions and networking opportunities designed to inspire and inform those involved in hospitality education and training.

David McKown, a driving force behind the summit, said: "Thank you to the Savoy Educational Trust for providing a grant and support to make this possible, their contribution ensures we can bring together passionate educators and industry leaders to shape the future of culinary arts education and training."

The summit underscores the Craft Guild of Chefs ongoing commitment to nurturing talent, promoting excellence in training and supporting the professional development of the culinary arts across the UK.

Angela Maher, chief executive of the Savoy Educational Trust, added: “We are delighted to support this important summit, which brings together those shaping the future of hospitality education.

“Collaboration between education and industry is vital if we are to equip individuals with the knowledge, confidence, and skills they need to thrive. By supporting initiatives like this, we aim to strengthen those connections and help create clear, long term, career pathways for the next generation of hospitality professionals.”

Attendees will benefit from an engaging agenda focused on innovation, collaboration, and the evolving needs of the industry. The summit is open to chefs, lecturers, training managers, and all those with a vested interest in the future of culinary education.
