Craft Guild opens nominations for 2022-23 committee

The Craft Guild of Chefs has decided to make a number of changes to committee roles to better reflect the work it does and the future role it intends to play.

Nominations for the new-look committee are invited for those willing to serve 2022-2023. The deadline for receipt of nominations is March 5th and nomination forms are available on the Craft Guild website.

The positions available include:

  • Chairman
  • Vice Chairman
  • Young Chef Ambassador: A link between the young members and the Guild, to actively bring the two into line
  • Social Media Co-ordinator: A link between our social media company and the CGOC Facebook/LinkedIn/Twitter/Instagram/Website plus the app
  • Wellbeing: Looking after Burnt Chef/Kelly's Cause/Beyond Food Foundation/Hospitality Action and all items relating to wellbeing and charity
  • Education & Training: Looking after College Accreditation/Training Provider Accreditation plus Craft Guild apprenticeships
  • Membership & Benefits: Looking at ways to gain and retain members
  • Culinary Academy: Organising the Craft Guild’s Culinary Academy/Team
  • Social Secretary: To look after non-professional events in the calendar, and lunch clubs

The 2022-23 committee will be announced at the Craft Guild of Chefs AGM, which is taking place at the Victory Services Club in Hyde Park, London on April 3rd 2022.
