Craft Guild committee members host evening lunch club
A group of Craft Guild committee members had the privilege of spending a ‘wonderful evening’ at the Chucs restaurant in St John’s Wood.
The ‘evening’ lunch clubs are held at one of the committee members restaurants and this time it was Connor Godfrey’s turn, who is head chef at Chucs restaurant.
Committee member Maria Drury said: “Chucs Restaurant is an Italian inspired modern cuisine enjoying attentive service a wonderful ambience and exquisite food and wine.
“This unassuming gem is tucked away on Church Street and from the moment you stepped over the threshold you were made to feel at home. The restaurant has an elegant interior and a relaxing atmosphere.”
On arrival the committee members enjoyed bubbles followed by a selection of breads and balsamic vinegar whilst waiting for their courses to begin.
The menu included:
- lamb croquettes with salsa Verde and truffle arancini
- succulent scallops
- Long horn English beef cheek Ravioli, succulent pink breast of Gressingham duck
- Chuc's tiramisu
- Accompanied by very fine white and red wine
