COVID-19 – Craft Guild of Chefs Update

Written by: Edward Waddell
Andrew Green, chief executive of the Craft Guild of Chefs, has released a statement updating Craft Guild members about the coronavirus situation.

With the troubling times that we are currently in with regards to the COVID-19 crisis the Craft Guild of Chefs is looking at all the events that we have over the next few months.

Our biggest concern will always be our membership, Business Partners and all the supporters that we have, and hope that all understand at this time.

We have taken the hard decision to move/postpose the following events: AGM will move from April to 9th August, The Major Series this month are both postponed, Golf Day for May postponed until 13th May 2021, The British Student Culinary Championships moves to the autumn. With the constant changing landscape, we ask that everyone keeps a check on our website for updates to our events and competitions.

We understand that with these uncertain times there is great concern within the hospitality sector at the moment, and we are working to encourage government to set clearer guidelines for our colleagues in these unprecedented times. We wish you all the very best, and keep yourself healthy.

Andrew Green.
