International Salon Culinaire opens for entry

Entries for the prestigious International Salon Culinaire are now open, with the chef competitions returning to Hotel, Restaurant & Catering (HRC) from 21-23 March 2022 at ExCeL London.

The competition, supported by Compass Group UK & Ireland as headline sponsor, offers a platform for chefs to showcase their gastronomic skills to some of the UK’s top chefs.

Returning this year is the Skills Theatre that is designed to give younger and less experienced chefs and front of house students a forum to practice necessary skills required for their career progression. Young chefs will learn how to butcher a whole chicken, lemon sole filleting, knife skills, flan decoration and mixology to name just a few.

The skills competitions are open to students, trainee or apprentice chefs undergoing a recognised catering qualification and MSK Ingredients shall be offering a training day to the best overall performing college as a prize.
