Spanish Persimon recipe courtesy of Foods from Spain
- 450ml milk
- 1 dessertspoon dark brown soft sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 75g porridge oats
- 1 Spanish Persimon, diced
- 1 apple - peeled, cored and diced
- Honey to serve (optional)
Preparation method
1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to
the boil. Reduce to simmer for 5 minutes, or until the
oats are tender, stirring occasionally.
2. To serve, pour into bowls, top with a little more diced persimon and drizzle with honey if desired.
