Young Restaurant Team meet Lisa Goodwin Allen

Students from The Sheffield College who won the Wellocks Award for ‘Best use of the Finest Ingredients’ at the Grand Final of UK Young Restaurant Team of the Year enjoyed a Gourmet Lunch at Northcote a hotel and Michelin starred restaurant in Lancashire.

David McKown, director of the competition, commented: “The team met Lisa Goodwin Allen during their day at Northcote and the icing on the cake was a tour of the fantastic kitchen and an insight into the produce and systems they use.”

The team was mentored by Len Unwin and the student team included Max Heath, Jess Nicholson and Jessica Godber.
