Worcester chef is new face of McCain Foodservice

Written by: Admin
Nic Gibbons, head chef at The Swan at Whittington, Worcester is the new advertising face of McCain Foods' Signatures range.
Nic's 'Signature Dish' – Hereford fillet of beef, stuffed with Stilton, wrapped in Woodland smoked bacon and served with rich wild mushroom and Madeira sauce, fresh greens and McCain Signatures Gourmet chips – is featured in McCain's latest advertising campaign. The Swan has been in business for thirteen years and is continuing to grow and thrive during the most difficult of economic times. Nic said: "The Swan is well-known in the local area and we rely on repeat business. This is achieved by consistency of service and the quality of our food. McCain Signatures Gourmet chips are by far the best we have used. We have tried preparing our own handmade chips, but using McCain Signatures allows us to keep up with demand and focus on providing an inspiring menu." Adrian Greaves, McCain Foodservice Associate Director, added: "Excellent food-led pubs like The Swan deserve real praise as they bring great food to local communities. We are happy to showcase chefs like Nic, whose menu is succeeding despite the current recession because of the high quality of food that he serves."
