In their eighth year, the accolades aim to find the best of Derbyshire's eateries and establishments. They are judged on a number of criteria including the quality of food and drink, use of county produce and acknowledgement of it on menus as well as customer service. Cabinet member for regeneration, councillor Simon Spencer, said: "The awards show what fantastic restaurants, pubs and tea rooms we have in Derbyshire. The evening was a great success and it was wonderful to meet so many people who contribute so much to the economy of the county."
