The competition, which is running for the third consecutive year, is calling all executive chefs, head chefs, sous chefs or chef de parties to enter. 

Lee Ladislav Poustevnik, head chef of Beales Gourmet, was named as the winner of the 2019 Te Mana Lamb challenge with his ‘Dish of the Habit’ (Duo of Lamb).

Te Mana Lamb is ‘one of the world’s finest lambs’ and is a result of an 11-years+ scientific research programme. Over 500 genetic lines were tested & Ram 211 stood out as he had a high level of intramuscular fat and Omega-3.

The winner of the competition will be given a place on the 2021 Pure South Discovery Series where they will have the opportunity to visit farms, cook the produce and discover New Zealand.
