Pan-Asian noodle restaurant Wagamama has triumphed over London's top restaurants to be awarded 'London's most popular restaurant 2009' by Zagat for the fourth year running.
The most popular London restaurants as confirmed by Zagat are: 1. Wagamama 2. The Ivy 3. J. Sheekey 4. Nobu 5. the Wolseley 6. Gordon Ramsay, Royal Hospital Road 7. Hakkasan 8. Gordon Ramsay at Claridge's 9. Le Gavroche 10. The Square Zagat awards are voted for by the public, reaffirming the popularity and success of the 27 restaurants located in London. Wagamama CEO Steve Hill explained how important the award is to the company: "Our philosophy is to strive for continuous improvements in both the quality of our food and service we deliver across everyone one of our restaurants and winning this award four years in a row really helps to reinforce that everybody's efforts are paying off it is a fantastic achievement and is recognition of the hard work, dedication, passion and continued pursuit of excellence by everyone within the Wagamama team, this is brilliant news."
