U Dine reveals On Trend Award shortlisted finalists

The shortlist for the On Trend Food accolade at the 2026 U Dine Awards has officially been revealed, celebrating the creativity and innovation shaping university hospitality across the UK.

The awards take place on 16th June at Aston University and will bring together leading professionals from across the higher education hospitality sector for a half day conference, exhibition and awards ceremony celebrating excellence on university campuses.

Sponsored by Lamb Weston, the On Trend Food Award recognises universities and catering partners that are leading the way with exciting, relevant and student focused food concepts.

From street food inspired menus and global flavours to sustainable dining and innovative grab and go offers, the category highlights the food trends resonating most with today’s university students. The shortlisted finalists are:
