Chef patron Dev Biswal at Margate's Michelin-listed Ambrette restaurant is giving live cookery demonstrations at local farm shops to promote his range of marinades.
Guests will have the chance to sample Biswal's cooking for free at Lower Hardres Farm Shop Hardres near Canterbury on Saturday 16th July and at Quex Barn in Birchington on Saturday 23rd of July, between 10am and 4pm. There are three products in the range of 'Biswal's Premier Marinades', for chicken, lamb and fish that retail at around £3.95 for 250ml jars that are sufficient for four servings and keep for 2-4 weeks once opened. "We have some excellent farm shops in Kent, showcasing the very best fresh produce and artisan foods around – they do a great job in giving the food-loving public a wide choice of the best quality. local and seasonal produce. If I can help these shops sell more meat and fish with the marinades, everyone benefits."
