Tamarind restaurant partners with Mint Catering
Mayfair Indian restaurant Tamarind has ventured into the event catering business - thanks to a new partnership with Mint Catering.
The new collaboration will allow the Michelin-starred restaurant's chefs to concentrate on the creation of menus of high end, contemporary Indian cuisine.
In addition, the joint offering will cover everything from canapés, bowl food, dinners, canapés, banquets, barbeques and wedding catering.
Rajesh Suri, chief operating officer of Tamarind, commented: "This fantastic collaboration allows us to go into the external catering field and focus on what we do best: the creation of out-of-this-world food and drink.
"The partnership also means that we can form part of a comprehensive catering offering. Our fine dining Indian cuisine will be available alongside European menus. Customers will be able to choose their preferred option."
Under the guidance of executive chef Alfred Prascad, Tamarind specialises in cuisine from north-western and southern India.
