Steve Munkley wins Chairman's Award

Written by: Admin
Steve Munkley, vice president of the Craft Guild of Chefs and executive chef at the five star Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London, has won the Chairman's Award at the LACA Awards for Excellence 2011.
Every year the awards acknowledge individuals and teams of people who continue to make a real difference in education catering. Winning a LACA Award not only boosts the confidence, morale and motivation of the whole organisation but is instrumental in changing the attitudes and influencing the actions of both parents and pupils. Other winners included Northamptonshire County Council which scooped the Catering Business of the Year award, Warwickshire County Caterers picked up the Specialist Cater/Catering Team of the Year award and Falcon Foodservice Equipment walked away with the Supplier of the Year title. The winners were revealed at the Local Authority Caterers Association exhibition yesterday (7 July) at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
