St. Patrick’s Day charity fund-raising dinner to go ahead – at home!

Written by: David Foad
Catering company Green & Fortune plans to go-ahead with its annual St. Patrick’s Day charity fund-raising dinner this year on March 17th – those buying tickets will have a five-course meal delivered to their home for the occasion.

The beneficiary charities will again be The London Irish Centre and Then Clink Charity.

John Nugent, chief executive of Green & Fortune, said: “This year we will not be gathering but we are already planning for another fun event in 2022.

“However, we do not want the tradition to cease so we have again linked with both charities and the Rotunda team to bring you two wonderful ‘At Home’ restaurant kits to enjoy and celebrate the occasion.

“We have two delicious Irish menus with traditional drinks to match.  We will be distributing these in advance of both weekends either side of the celebrations as well as in time for the day itself, Wednesday 17th March.

“Each meal kit is easy to cook and put together at home with full instructions.”

A donation from the sale of each box will be made to each charity, with Green & Fortune making a further contribution. Everybody who orders a meal kit you will be entered into a prize draw.

On the night the London Irish Centre will be broadcasting a live event celebrating all things St. Patrick. More details on the website: https://www.londonirishcentre.org/.
