NoshyCircle app creates community of cooks

Written by: Edward Waddell
A new community food platform, NoshyCircle, has been launched to enable people to enjoy ‘great home cooked food’.

NoshyCircle combines food cooked by local home cooks with pre-order and delivery services that ensure food is served hot. Following a successful test period NoshyCircle secured £91,000 in funding, which will support its plan to launch in all major UK cities during 2021.

Subha Ganesh, founder of NoshyCircle, said: “We’re excited to welcome on board lots of new cooks and chefs from households and restaurants throughout the UK. Cooks can register their interest today via the website or cooks app and we’ll notify them when we’re in their local area.

Anyone can register to become a NoshyCircle cook if they hold a hygiene-rating certificate and register with the local council. Customers can order food directly from their mobile phone using the NoshyCircle app.

Naila Khan, from Apna Kitchen, added: “I have always loved to cook. I was inspired by my mother’s talent in the kitchen. She migrated from South of India to Pakistan where she learned lots of delicious recipes!

“Today, working as a NoshyCircle cook has enabled me to share the flavours and delights of Indian cooking with my local community, not just my family.”
