New executive chef at Doubletree by Hilton, Dunblane Hydro
Doubletree by Hilton, Dunblane Hydro has appointed Steven Campbell as the new executive head chef for the property and its signature restaurant, The Kailyard by Nick Nairn.
Campbell has 35 years experience in the hospitality sector and has worked in some of the country's most prestigious hotels and restaurants as well as several five-star properties across Europe.
He will be responsible for the menus within the hotel's lounge and bar area as well as all wedding and conference menus and meals. In addition, he will work alongside renowned TV chef Nick Nairn to implement his menus at The Kailyard by Nick Nairn.
Campbell said: "I'm excited at the prospect of returning to the hotel following its refurbishment and look forward to starting a new chapter in my career working alongside Nick Nairn."
Calum Ross, area general manager of Hilton hotels, Central Scotland, added: "Steven has a fantastic reputation within the industry and will join an excellent team of individuals at the hotel to ensure that the hotel continues to provide a fantastic dining experience to locals and visitors alike."
