Luzerne makes its debut as sponsors of the Craft Guild of Chefs 2011 Restaurant Chef Award

World renowned tableware specialist Luzerne has announced its sponsorship of the Craft Guild of Chefs Restaurant Chef Award category.
Luzerne is celebrated for its ceramic and stone tableware made by skilful craftsmen and is widely recognised as a pioneer in the method of producing traditional bone china without the use of animal bone ash. The company sees strong synergy between the Craft Guild's accolades and the quality tableware it makes and believes that the Restaurant Chef Award it is sponsoring will benefit the brand in terms of visibility. "Luzerne's involvement in top gourmet events across the globe including the much anticipated Craft Guild of Chefs Awards 2011 enables strong partnerships to come about. We feel very strongly about working with the culinary mavens of today and the stars of tomorrow. Our sponsorship is to help creative culinary excellence come to the fore. We are immensely proud to be a part of this," said managing director Jonathan Lek. Luzerne will also be showcasing a special plate, chosen especially for the occasion, to be presented as part of the first course of the evening's much anticipated dinner. The 18th Craft Guild of Chefs Awards will be held at the Westminster Park Plaza Hotel in London on June 2.
