Vicky Enderson, chair of Judges, commented: “The teams attention to detail in respect of sustainability was exceptional and a real credit to the industry.”

The all-female team of Caitlin McGrath, Riley Monk and Grace McGreal was mentored by Darren Creed, curriculum manager at Loughborough College.

The team will embark on a tour to Lyon in October that includes an in-depth study into Gastronomy and a visit to the Institute of Paul Bocuse.
