HA charity dinner
Past achievers of the Graduate Awards will be showcasing their talents at the Craft Guild Graduates Charity Dinner at the Royal Garden Hotel on October 23 in aid of the industry's main charity Hospitality Action.
Six graduates volunteered to produce the five course dinner. Canapés will be prepared by Nick Sinclair from Burford Bridge Hotel; the first course by Anton Scoones from Oulton Hall; the fish course by Steve Wilson from the House of Commons; the main course by Richard Edwards from the Mallory Court Hotel; dessert by Robert Taylor from the Pearsons Arms gastro pub; and petit fours by consultant chef Sophie Wright.
Royal Garden's executive chef and Guild vice president Steve Munkley says: "I wanted to try and showcase the past achievers and came up with the idea of making them celebrity chefs for a night.
"The Craft Guild has always raised money for itself so on this occasion I thought it would be fitting to raise money for charity, and in particular Hospitality Action. We are asking the industry to support the event."
