Glasgow Chef wins Lakeland Dairies Challenge
Robbie McDougall, a chef and student at Glasgow City College, won the Lakeland Dairies Challenge at the recent Skills for Chefs Conference.
Competitors had to create a personal interpretation of a Knickerbocker Glory using Lakeland Dairies Butter, Millac Gold and other products from the company.
Nigel Austick from Lakeland Dairies commented: “A great dessert sauce was prepared and together with careful layering of the ice cream, Robbie impressed our panel of judges.”
A glass trophy and a voucher for Russums was presented by Alan Colley representing Lakeland Dairies at the Gala Awards Dinner.
