Game for it

Written by: Admin
For those who want to support a good cause and get the chance to bid for a host of fabulous prizes, a banquet is being held at Westminster Kingsway College on February 27 2009 for the Campaign for Falconry, an organisation that looks after the practice of falconry in the UK.
Game chef lecturer and falconer Jose Souto is a keen supporter of this association and, with the help of fellow lecturers and Craft Guild members Simon Stocker and Vince Cottam, has brought together a five course feast with wine based around the celebration of game, hunting and British food. The event kicks off with a champagne reception and then during the dinner an auction, conducted by celebrated actor and field sportsman Bernard Cribbins. Prizes include: • Days wild fowling and pheasant shooting in Wales • Day's tuition at Garlands shooting school • Weekends away in Scotland on a grouse moor watching falcons, hunting grouse, stalking or just getting away to the Highlands • A chance for two people to go up in a glider and fly alongside a trained eagle • Meals at Eaton College and Rules Restaurant • Private champagne party and tasting at your home or place of work Tickets cost £50. To book your place, contact Charlotte Souto on 01733 840597 or 07779 788916, or email [email protected] For more diary dates simply click on the logo below.
