
Frenchie Covent Garden appoints new head chef
Frenchie Covent Garden is the new London post of Gregory Marchand’s Frenchie ‘empire.’ The menu at Frenchie Covent Garden includes a five-course tasting menu using seasonal produce and dishes from their eclectic à la carte menu.
Rohlen has a decade of experience in the hospitality industry working with a variety of Michelin-starred restaurants including Lindsay House, Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill in Mayfair and Jason Atherton’s Pollen Street Social.
In 2016 Rohlen was promoted to head chef at another Atherton site, Social Wine and Tapas where he was in charge of ten chefs while running the kitchen and contributing to menu creation.
In November 2018, Rohlen helped to launch Jason Atherton’s King’s Social House in St Moritz, Switzerland, where he worked for six months until April 2019.
