First pop-up restaurant at Glastonbury Festival

Written by: Admin
Adam Fellows, owner of the Goodfellows Restaurant in Somerset, will be preparing up to 9000 meals on gas burners in the middle of a field at the first Pop Up Restaurant at the Glastonbury Festival next week. (24-29 June).
Fellows will be teaming up with Toby White from Malinkey's who owns a charabanc converted from a TK Bedford horsebox. The restaurant will be open from 9am to 2am, serving breakfast, sandwiches and take away dishes. He said: "I had been thinking of doing something at the Festival for some time, and jumped at the chance when I was introduced to Toby "It's a great opportunity and I'm really looking forward to it. With a possible 9000 meals to cook over the five days, it will be the biggest logistical challenge I've ever undertaken!"
