Vicky Enderson, chair of judges, commented: “The team displayed great innovation within their menu and service, their dessert would grace any award winning restaurant menu.”

The award was presented by James Begner, development chef at Welbilt, who was part of the judging team at both the qualifying heats and the grand final.

The student team included Edward Rogers, Mia Crook and Rishi Chaudhary. The team was mentored by Eastleigh College Lecturer Greg Cheeseman.
