Craft Guild of Chefs wins two silver medals at Culinary World Cup

The Craft Guild of Chefs team who competed at the Culinary World Cup in Luxembourg won two silver medals and a diploma of honour.

The Culinary World Cup is a five-day event that brought together over 1,500 chefs from around the globe. The competition is staged every four years in a different location.

The culinary team won two silver medals in the Individual Culinary Art competition as well as a diploma of honour in the Individual Pastry Artistic competition.

The culinary team included:

  • Peter Joyner – team manager
  • Terry O’Riordan – team captain
  • Kevin Millar – team pastry chef
  • Wayne Corbett – team chef
  • Rick Owens – team chef

Peter Joyner, food development director at Elior, said: “I'm pleased to announce as manager of the Craft Guild of Chefs culinary team that we had a fantastic result this week at the Culinary World Cup, Luxembourg.
