Craft Guild of Chefs chair Mark Reynolds to open Education & Training Summit

Written by: Edward Waddell
Mark Reynolds, chair of the Craft Guild of Chefs, will open the upcoming Education and Training Summit that is taking place in Sheffield on 9-10th January 2025.

The summit is aimed at educational institutions, training organisations and the wider industry. Building on the success of the Craft Guild of Chefs Accreditation programme, the summit will share insights into successful learning programmes.

Changes to the Craft Guild of Chefs College and Training Accreditation scheme will also be outlined during the Summit. In addition to the sessions delivered by those working in education and training, the programme will also feature industry speakers.

Reynolds said: “I’m so excited and looking forward to attending the up-and-coming Education and Training summit in January.

“These forums are so important to have the opportunity to educate and train our trainers and colleges and give new ideas to improve what they do, after all without them building the foundations for the future where will our industry be?

“David McKown and his committee are a driving force within the industry pushing Education and training and I’m so proud to have them be part of The Craft Guild of Chefs.”
