Craft Guild AGM announces Honours & Awards

The Craft Guild of Chefs Honours and Awards were announced at the Annual General Meeting at Victory Services Club in Hyde Park on April 3rd 2022.

The Chairman’s Award was given to Mark Reynolds for his outstanding commitment to the Craft Guild and his continued support of all our competitions and events.

Matt Owens, chair of the Craft Guild, said: “Mark Has been my Vice Chairman for the past year, And I personally could not have carried out my duties without his continuous support and commitment. Mark has more than delivered since joining the main committee of management with every task set, he has in the last couple of years taken on Future Chef for the Craft Guild of Chefs side and plays a large part in the success of the competition also he has become heavily involved with NCOTY, he has supported the Craft Guild by introducing and encouraging Chefs to join us.

“Mark will always go above and beyond to drive the Craft Guild of Chefs forward, he has contributed to our industry by putting as much back as possible by being involved by supporting our Business Partners requirements, training the young Chefs of tomorrow. Mark has become a huge ambassador of the Craft Guild of Chefs, and is always first to support our many projects from NCOTY mentor days to chef engagement in education.

“He has played key parts in the way the Guild is moving forward and fly’s the Guild flag every day! Mark never asks for anything in return, he just does this because of his passion for the Craft Guild of Chefs and our industry. The humble Chef that Mark is deserves to be recognised for his continued efforts that are carried out on a daily basis within the Craft Guild. He is an aspiration to all and deservedly well respected in industry, therefore as the Chairman of the Guild I would like to recognise him with this award.”
