Cookery classes at Moti Mahal

Head chef Anirudh Arora at Moti Mahal restaurant in Covent Garden is holding a series of cookery classes next month for up to eight guests in his kitchen.
Starting on 28 June, the event will include an informal two-hour cookery class followed by a three-course lunch and an Indian food and wine pairing session priced at £55 per person. Anirudh will teach guests how to create traditional Indian recipes from many different regions of India. The cookery classes will run monthly from 10.30am until 12.30pm. Dishes on the lunch menu will include Tandoori chicken supreme with mint and coriander, crab cakes with lime leaf, pan fried red mullet with poppy seed and smoked aubergine mash. The courses will include the cost of all the ingredients, the three-course lunch and wine tasting with wine consultant, Richard Weiss. The 85-cover eatery is located across two floors and features glass chandeliers, dark wood flooring, taupe walls and cream leather seating. Weblink: www.motimahal-uk.com
