Chef Clare Smyth partners with Gastronomy Plus to create range of knives
She is the first and only British female chef to be awarded three Michelien stars for her restaurant Core by Clare Smyth and also the first chef since Paul Bocuse to hold three Michelin stars and three hats in Australia simultaneously.
Each knife, crafted using Sheffield steel and pioneering Richlite, embodies Clare’s respect for tradition, dedication to quality, and commitment to the environment.
The knives include: an 18cm chef’s knife, 21cm chef’s knife, 20cm bread knife, 16cm filleting knife, 14cm boning knife, 9cm paring knife, 11cm utility knife, 14cm santoku knife and 17cm nakiri knife to cover every job from filleting and boning, to dicing and mincing.
Speaking about the range, Smyth said: “I’ve condensed a lifetime of kitchen know-how into these knives – they’re like the superheroes of kitchen prep. I'm all about getting people excited for home cooking and when you've got the right tools it becomes a joy.
