Campion launches London Restaurant Guide 2009
A new and revised pocket-sized Charles Campion London Restaurant Guide 2009 launched yesterday (10 September), featuring one-page reviews of over 400 restaurants along with 79 new entries.
The guide covers over 60 cuisines and ranges from Mayfair hotspots to Pakistani grill houses. Each review covers the cooking, service and ambience, as well we giving tips on specialities and basic information on set menus and wine.
In addition, the guide breaks London down into over 40 neighbourhoods, each with its own easy-to-read map.
And for those feeling spoilt for choice, Campion has provided his own 'top picks' list to suit all tastes and pockets.
Critic Tom Parker Bowles commented on Campion's new addition: "His knowledge, experience and love of food shine through in every line: armed with this book, you need nothing more than a healthy appetite to find the very best of London eating."
The paperback booklet is priced at £8.99 each.
