Brockenhurst College students raise over £500 for Craft Guild Ukraine appeal
Hospitality students at Brockenhurst College raised more than £500 yesterday for the Craft Guild of Chefs Ukraine relief appeal with a special brunch & lunch takeaway menu.
The students served coffee and confectionery items from 11:00am, which then switched to more substantial offerings from noon.
The lunch options included speciality burgers, pizza, fish & chips, pasta dishes, beef curry and pad Thai. All dishes were served to students and staff at the College’s on-campus restaurant, known as MJ’s.
Organiser Cathy MacArthur said: “The students produced some very appetising options that buyers simply loved. We were over the moon to exceed £500, taking £537.50 in total.”
