Brandshatch Place Hotel gains second AA Rosette
Brandshatch Place Hotel & Spa in Fawkham, Kent, part of the award-winning Hand Picked Hotels collection, has gained a second AA rosette for its exceptional cuisine.
In addition, the hotel also received a 4 star hotel rating with an increased AA merit score of 79%. The accolade was awarded to the hotel's fine dining restaurant, The Dining Room, which prides itself on its local and seasonal dishes. Brandshatch's culinary team is lead by Stephen Redpath, who joined as junior sous chef and is now the property's head chef. Redpath's signature dishes include pan-fried fillet of stone bass and potato gnocchi with broad beans & pea shoots. The head chef said: "Having been with Brandshatch Place Hotel and Spa for nearly two years, I have seen the culinary team go from strength to strength and am absolutely delighted that we have gained our second AA rosette. "At The Dining Room my aim is to serve traditional favourites with a modern twist and to create some new dishes with the hope that they will one day be considered traditional favourites." Other facilities at the hotel include tennis, gym, squash court, swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms as well as treatment rooms, spa lounge, relaxation room and a hydrotherapy pool.
