Bidfood Christmas Gift campaign returns

Written by: Edward Waddell
Bidfood’s Christmas Gift campaign is back for a third year to reward hospitality staff that sacrifice spending Christmas with their families to make the holiday season special for others.

An estimated 93.4% of hospitality workers know there is a chance they will be required to work over the Christmas period.

Bidfood is calling on the industry to nominate ‘dedicated individuals’ who will either work on Christmas Day or Boxing Day this year (and/or worked last year). The campaign aims to reward hospitality workers who go above and beyond the call of duty to make Christmas time special for thousands of other people.

Andy Kemp, group sales & marketing director at Bidfood, said: “I’m delighted to announce the return of our award-winning Christmas Gift campaign.

“Not only does this campaign reflect the hard work, dedication and importance of our industry over the Christmas period, but it highlights some truly heart-warming stories.

“There are so many that sacrifice their own family time to serve others every year, so we wanted to say thank you to some of those standout individuals in our industry for their hard work and contributions.”

Four winners, one from each of the following categories will be revealed on 2 December 2019:

  • Accommodation: hotels, B&B’s, hostels, pubs with accommodation etc.

Each of the four winners will enjoy a visit to a restaurant of their choosing with their family and a surprise Christmas gift.
