Adande announces six-month UK price freeze

Written by: Edward Waddell
Adande Refrigeration has announced a six-month UK price freeze as the company continues to support its hospitality customer base.

At a time when the supply chain typically increases equipment prices, Craft Guild of Chefs business partner Adande Refrigeration has committed to holding its current rates of purchase.

Adande Refrigeration is absorbing cost increases in raw materials as a result of the global shortages caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Karl Hodgson, global sales director of Adande Refrigeration, said: “There is no doubt the Covid-19 pandemic is a difficult time for all of us in the hospitality sector. Yet, despite the difficulties, at Adande, we have committed to serving our customers and doing everything we can to support them into the New Year and beyond.

“Not only have we introduced five-year UK warranty across our entire refrigeration range, we have also introduced EasyBuy, a way to spread the cost of essential, high quality kitchen refrigeration.

“I am happy to add to these measures by confirming we are holding our current UK prices, freezing them into place. They will not be reviewed until June 2021, at the very earliest.”

Throughout the UK November lockdown, Adande Refrigeration will stay open to assist customers who are running takeaway services or those who are building new kitchens.

Nigel Bell, executive chairman of Adande Refrigeration, added: “We are here to support our industry, offering the world-class sustainable equipment in a way that is affordable ensuring our customers can access equipment that keeps food fresher for longer, reduces food waste, reduces energy use and has a low cost of ownership throughout its lifetime.”
