PX+ Festival Aug 24-27 Duchess Farms, Hertfordshire
The organisers of the four-day event are billing it as a ‘creative playground’ that gives hospitality workers ‘the chance to come together, create, share, discuss and celebrate’.
Drinks-wise, Trash Tiki’s Iain Griffiths and Kelsey Ramage will be back on these shores running the bar, with appearances from Mr Lyan, Bramble, Filter + Fox, Three Sheets and Coupette. Wine is being overseen by Jennifer Docherty MW, while Two Tribes Brewery will be fostering a collaborative brewing environment onsite.
There’ll be a programme of speakers, including Clare Smyth of Core, Peter Prescott of the Prescott & Conran Group and Sticky Walnut’s Gary Usher.
But what about the food? Fear not! There’ll be a 60-cover restaurant where chefs and restaurateurs, including Jackson Boxer and Cary Docherty, will be creating full food and drink tasting menus, while a roaming 20-cover restaurant will also be available for guests to hop on and off.
For those who’re feeling a bit hospitality-ed out, there’ll be a music venue run by Island Records, while an R&R tent will offer yoga and meditation.
The four-day event will take place at Duchess Farms in Hertfordshire on 24-27 August.
Those who are interested in attending need to register and wait for approval, but once it has been granted, tickets are £175, with the price including camping pitch, daily breakfast and unlimited coffee.
