Benoit Blin, chef patissier of Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, has been with the restaurant for 14 years.
He has been described as one of the most talented pastry chefs working in this country. His leadership and training styles encourage loyal support from his brigade and he is someone who is always prepared to nurture aspiring talents.
A member of the Academy of Culinary Arts, he won the academy's Master of Culinary Arts in 2005 and now sits on the MCA awards committee.
Fellow members say Blin is an exemplary role model and mentor for young people.
