This will be the 10th annual competition and the pre-pandemic format of qualifying heats followed by a Grand Final will return for 2023.

David McKown, director of the competition, commented: “We’ve got some set ingredients that all teams must use including British Beef and MSK Ingredients, however this year we are looking for even more creativity and innovation that in previous years.”

At the final the challenge of a mystery box created by Wellocks will also add further excitement. As usual a fantastic study tour awaits the winners who will be crowned at the Skills for Chefs Gala Dinner.
