TV chef Chris Wheeler launches debut cookbook

Chris Wheeler, Executive Chef at the Stoke Park Country Club and known for his appearances on Saturday Kitchen and The Great British Menu presents his debut cookbook, The Ginger Chef ‘Served Up’.

The book will feature over 65 recipes to recreate the dishes on offer at Stoke Park. Chris said: “I wanted to create a book of dishes which anyone can create at home, but I’ve also included a more challenging fine dining dish for each course as so you can really impress your family and friends!”

He explains how the dishes range from starters to desserts and includes options for vegans, vegetarians, and those with gluten intolerances. 

Over the past 25 years, Chris has wowed guests with his innovative cuisine. Chef Jean Christophe-Novelli spotted his talent and Chris went on to work with Novelli for the following 10 years, becoming the youngest Sous Chef at the time to be working full time in a Michelin star-winning restaurant. After his TV debut on BBC 2’s The Great British Menu, his personality and flair shone through.
