Shortlisted finalists revealed for Accredited College Restaurant of the Year Award
Anticipation is mounting as the Craft Guild of Chefs prepares to host its prestigious annual awards on 16th June at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
Among the highlights of the evening will be the announcement of the Accredited Training Restaurant of the Year—a category that honours ‘exceptional’ real-world training environments for the culinary arts.
The 2025 shortlist features three institutions:
- The Silver Plate Restaurant at Sheffield College
- Scholars Restaurant at Blackburn College
- East Avenue Restaurant at Eastleigh College
David McKown, chair of the Education and Training Committee, commented: “These restaurants not only provide authentic dining experiences to the public but also serve as vital stepping stones for the next generation.
“With a legacy of celebrating the best in British culinary talent, this year’s ceremony promises to be a memorable occasion. All eyes will be on London as the industry gathers to discover which training restaurant will take home the coveted title.”
