Searcys partners with homeless charity this Christmas

Written by: Katie Imms
Restaurant and event caterer, Searcys, is partnering with London-based charity Beyond Food Foundation this winter, to help raise funds for its fight against homelessness.

Launching in November, the ‘A very Searcys Christmas’ campaign will invite diners to donate £1 per bill, with all money raised going directly to Beyond Food.

Participating venues include: Helix at the Gherkin by Searcys; Bonfire and Osteria by Searcys at the Barbican; St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar by Searcys; and the Crypt Tea Room at St Paul’s Cathedral.

It will also be extended to 30 Pavilion Road, St Pancras Brasserie by Searcys and Searcys at the Gherkin, for private dining and events of 30+ people only.

Searcys head of communications, brand and marketing, Anna Fenten, said: “We are hugely proud to get behind this initiative with Beyond Food, a charity that is really close to our hearts.

“The holiday season is a crucial time for the hospitality industry to celebrate joy and happiness, but also an important time for charitable giving which will support the future generations of chefs.”

Simon Boyle, chef founder of Beyond Food, added: “We appreciate that as a leading hospitality business, Searcys is supporting our work at the Beyond Food Foundation.

“With the generous contribution of Searcys and its customers, we are able to help move more people into stable employment within the hospitality industry and support them while they adapt and continue to build their new independent lives.”
