Regale launches new entry-level Microsave cavity liner

Written by: Edward Waddell
Regale has launched a new 100% recyclable entry-level Microsave cavity liner, offering up to a 15% saving on the existing range without compromising on quality or protection.

Cost-effective microwave liners protect equipment from grease and food particles which, if left, can cause serious or unrepairable damage to the appliance.

The new product is compatible with the Panasonic NE-1878 and NE-1864 inverter microwaves, although Regale plans to extend the economy range over the next 12 months.

Similar to the premium Microsave liners already available, the new design is dishwasher and food safe, and is an ideal overall cleaning solution for microwaves. Although both liners look identical and achieve the same result, there are some differences. The original liner is transparent, whereas the latest product is made from a more solid, robust material, which is 100% recyclable to further support sustainability goals.

Iain Phillips, managing director of Regale, commented: “As the largest independent commercial microwave specialist in the UK, and the largest reseller of Panasonic catering equipment products in the world, it is imperative that we adapt and move with the industry, ensuring that our product range also aligns with the evolving demands of modern foodservice operators.

“Operators are currently facing huge pressures, not only with the impact of both the National Living Wage/National Minimum Wage and National Insurance contributions, but also with rising energy bills. At Regale we fully understand and appreciate these challenges, which is why we have added this economy model to support customers, and we plan to extend the range in the coming months.

“These liners will give operators greater choice and flexibility when purchasing catering equipment. And we worked hard to source a material that is not only cost-effective, but 100% recyclable too.”

The new economy Microsave liner for the Panasonic NE-1878 and NE-1864 will be sold alongside the existing range from July, with samples available from the end of March. The product will be in stock and available for next working day delivery.
