Written by: Katie Imms
A stellar line-up of Michelin-starred chefs will join Michel Roux Jr in the kitchen next month (4 February), when he hosts the fourth annual Great Chefs Dinner.

Raising money for national charity DEBRA, the four-course dinner will take place at Roux’s restaurant, Roux at The Landau (The Langham), with six world-renowned chefs cooking one dish each.

  • Canapés - Chris King (executive chef at The Langham)
  • Starter - Mark Flanagan (royal chef for master of the household) Sandringham game with pickled mushroom salad and roasted shallots
  • Intermediate - Andrew Wong (A Wong & Kym's) seared scallop cheung fun with gai lan and fermented, chilli bean vinaigrette, crispy Cantonese pork belly
  • Main - Michel Roux Jr - quail and foie gras ‘lucullus’, Jerusalem artichoke, pear and black truffle
  • Dessert - Gianluca Fusto (Italian pastry chef) ‘Chocolate by Fusto’
  • Petits Fours - Andrew Gravett (The Langham executive pastry chef)

Roux Jr. will also have his father chef Albert Roux by his side, as the evening’s host.

Roux Jr. said: “I am always so proud to host this fantastic fundraising event for DEBRA. It is such a wonderful charity and one that I, and the Langham Hotel, are thrilled to continue to support.

"I am delighted that in three years, this event has raised over £200,000 for DEBRA. We have some absolutely exceptional chefs cooking this year for the fourth DEBRA Great Chefs Dinner and I know it will be a fantastic night raising money to fight EB.”

DEBRA president Simon Weston added:  “I'm looking forward to attending my very first DEBRA Great Chefs Dinner and enjoying the exciting menu from these world class chefs. We are very appreciative of their support.

"It’s phenomenal that they are giving their valuable time to help us fight EB and raise the profile of the condition.

"I understand something of the pain and suffering that people with EB endure every day, which is why I am proud as DEBRA’s new president to support the charity and EB sufferers.”

All proceeds from the night will be donated to DEBRA to help continue it work supporting those suffering from the threatening skin condition EB.

Tickets cost £345 per person and include a Champagne reception, canapés, four-course dinner with paired wines, and petits fours.
