McCormick Sessions to return after 2020 success

Written by: Edward Waddell
The McCormick Sessions will return this April to deliver two live digital masterclasses focussing on ‘fun, flavour inspiration and new ways of thinking’.

The free interactive sessions are aimed at foodservice professionals and driven by some of the ‘hottest trends’ this year.

Session one, held on 9 April at 10am, features 2020 MasterChef finalist Philli Armitage-Mattin. She will create a number of delivery-focused dishes using Frank’s RedHot and French’s Mustard that can help operators raise their takeaway game.

Session two, held on 29 April at 10am, involves Christian Stevenson (DJ BBQ) and UK Butchery Skills Team Captain Simon Taylor who will compete in a meat vs plant-based battle royale.

Chris Cannon, commercial controller at McCormick, said: “Following their huge success last year, we’re excited to return in 2021 with two new exclusive McCormick Sessions.

“It’s brilliant to be working with Philli, Christian and Simon – three inspirational chefs whose expertise and creativity are invaluable to anyone looking to refresh their offering and create trend-driven menus.

“As we tentatively look forward to a summer with the hospitality sector back where it belongs, what better way to get inspired than signing up to these exclusive, free sessions today!”
