Final call for Craft Guild of Chefs Awards with entry deadline approaching
The reminder follows the recent launch of nominations and the integration of the awards section into the Guild’s main website, making it easier for chefs and industry professionals to submit entries.
The 2026 Craft Guild of Chefs Awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 10th June at Park Plaza London Westminster Bridge and will feature a refreshed format, with changes led by Craft Guild of Chefs chair Mark Reynolds.
Widely regarded as the ‘chefs’ Oscars’, the awards recognise exceptional talent across the UK’s chef industry, from apprentices and young chefs at the start of their careers to experienced chefs working in restaurants, pubs, hospitality, contract catering and the public sector.
There are 14 categories open for nomination, including:
- Apprentice Chef Award
- Banqueting & Event Chef Award
- Chef & Service Lecturer Award
- Competition Chef Award
- Contract Catering Chef Award
- Culinary Hero Award
- Development Chef Award
- Pastry Chef Award
- Pub Restaurant Chef Award
- Public Sector Chef Award
- Restaurant Chef Award

The Chef & Service Lecturer Award and the Sustainability Excellence Award have both been revised for the 2026 awards.
The Craft Guild of Chefs has emphasised that nominations must be fully completed, with answers to all category questions and relevant supporting information. Entries with minimal or no supporting detail will not be submitted to the judging panel.
In addition to the open categories, winners will also be announced on the night for the Accredited College Award, New Restaurant of the Year Award and the Special Award. Last year’s Special Award was presented to Clare Smyth MBE.
Nominations must be submitted by Friday 13th February 2026.
