KitchenAid kicks off new food series, TWO x TWO
Tasked with designing a menu that “showcases their individual styles” and “encompasses classic flavours from their respective home countries,” the first chefs to pair up are Andrea Zagatti - formerly of Mugaritz and Osteria Francescana - and Santiago Lastra Rodriguez - of Noma Mexico – who will co-host an exclusive dinner on 4 and 5 October at KitchenAid’s London experience store.
Starting at £25 per person, guests can sample a selection of small dishes and canapés, including: cantaloupe gazpacho; red prawn from Mazzara; crispy pantelleria capers; carnitas bun; traditional Mexican confit pig’s head and roasted parsnips with watercress.
The two chefs will also be cooking a five-course meal of British smoked eel, foie gras, langoustine, oxtail and Tiramisu made using porcini mushroom for a savoury twist, on 5 October for 16 guests. Tickets cost £110 per person and include paired cocktails and wines throughout, and are available via http://www.rsvp-popup.com/events/kitchenaid--two-x-two-london-zagatti-lastra-rodriguez.
