Kitchen CUT launches new initiative for chefs

Kitchen CUT and Russell Partnership Technology have joined forces to produce a seven part online course to enable chefs to achieve skill development and career progression.

Accredited by the International Hospitality Council, the initiative will enable chefs to ‘evolve their skills and drive their professional development’.

Users will complete the following modules:

  1. Yielding and purchasing
  2. Recipe writing/ costing and margin analysis
  3. Menu creating and costing
  4. Menu engineering analysis/ reporting
  5. Waste management and control
  6. Stock/ inventory control
  7. Managing and controlling operational GP’s and improving profits

Each module will include step by step guides and training videos to ensure chefs understand every aspect of the topics covered.

Kitchen CUT is a provider of cloud-based food and beverage management software that aims to ‘transform’ the way F&B businesses operate.

Kitchen CUT co-founder and Michelin starred chef John Wood, said: “Control over profit margins, recruitment and staff retention are huge concerns for the industry at the moment, so now certainly felt like the right time to address this.
