The Hospitality Show's Salon Culinaire full results

Written by: Admin
The Salon Culinaire at this year’s Hospitality Show featured an array of talented chefs from across the country showcasing their skill, commitment and passion for cooking.

There were three components to the Culinaire; Salon Display, Live Theatre and La Parade des Chefs.

The Live Theatre event involved chefs from across the industry competing in a series of fast-moving, back to back competitions in eight adjacent work stations. Classes included gluten-free menus, street food, tempting desserts and creating a three-course menu from a mystery box.

La Parade des Chefs saw a daily junior team providing a real-time lunch service for 100 covers in a glass enclosed competition kitchen. The teams consisted of five chefs aged 23 or under, plus one senior chef.

The Salon Display showcased works of art made from marzipan, sugarcraft, pastillage, chocolate and fast, plus an array of restaurant plates and platters.
